Soames Hotel and Jacks Bar is a beautiful hotel and restaurant, located 7km from Nanyuki town on the Nanyuki Naro-Moru highway. Soames hotel meets a need for a stylish, small and personal, mid-range priced hotel in the Nanyuki region of northern Kenya, for weekenders, holiday makers and business clients.
Soames is a classic contemporary style hotel, with a clean cut modern look, simply and tastefully furnished. Located just a few kms out of Nanyuki town, Soames is set within a 100 acre private property – surrounded by grassy fields with uninterrupted views of Mount Kenya that lies on the horizon and reminds us why its Kenya’s highest and most impressive mountain.
Soames hotel has rooms which are furnished with pure cotton linen and tastefully styled with natural colours and simple furnishings. Each room has a flat screen TV. The en-suite bathroom facility has a hot power shower. All rooms have tea and coffee facilities. Outside each room is a deck, which is an ideal space to relax and enjoy the garden, and the sunrise views of Mount Kenya that dominates the horizon.

Overnight stay before a flight
The space is cozy and just right for an afternoon lunch with friends and family. From the fishpond you the peaceful views of the nanyuki landscape I had a great time. The menu was well varied and looking forward to tasting the aged meat on another visit. I spent 2 nights. Potions were suitable and fries crunchy as I love The cottages were awesome so will definitely be back all this booked by Arenaline Adventures.

Very comfortable & great staff
Spent 2 nights with friends. All worked out well through the whole visit. Large comfortable room with a private terrace. Comfortable bed. Very nice common lounge with a large fire place, bar and terrace. Food was great with a good menu. Best of all were the very friendly and accommodating staff. Am glad we booked with Arenaline Adventures.

Delightful Surprise
What a little gem Soames is. Beautful view of the Mt. Kenya from each cottage. Very quiet and serene atmosphere.....just the lovely singing by the birds. We stayed for one night and were very comfortable in the beautiful white themed rooms. Loved the wooden floors. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and staff full of courtesy who welcomed us very warmly. We plan to return @ Arenaline Adventures.
